2015 Cherry Auction

2015 Cherry Auction

The 2015 Cherry Auction was very well attended and very well supported and we thank all of you for attending. There was a good atmosphere generating a competitive bidding vibe.

Total funds raised on behalf of the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation came to $71,846.85 with Tony Galati taking out the last box of cherries with a record bid of $50,500.00 crowning him the 2015 Cherry King.

Cherry Prince Riley and Princess Ruby also presented Tony Galati with a plaque in recognition of his past contributions of over $100,000.

A combined total of $18,600 was raised for the first boxes by the following bidders;

Sam Napoli, Balcatta Fresh
Rodney Dullard, Key Produce
John Ale, Tony Ale
Basil Gotsis, Fresh Provisions
Shane Patching, SJ Fresh
Jordan Brindle, Canning Bridge IGA

We thank these kind donors for their ongoing generosity.

In addition, John Ale paid $2000 for a signed Nic Naitanui Eagles jumper.

We also acknowledge Toyota Materials Handling for running the sausage sizzle which raised $630.00, WB Pit Stop for providing coffees which raised $116.85, Tim Gossage our auctioneer, Richard Bloomfield for assisting and the Perth Market Authority and their staff for providing their ongoing support for the event.

Thank you all again for supporting our charity partner, Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation and we look forward to continuing the tradition next year.
